How to check if my nameservers have propagated?
Whenever you change the nameservers for your domain name, it goes through a propagation period. This is the process whereby the DNS records update throughout the internet so web servers know where to look for your website.
This process can take some time, up to 24 hours or longer in some cases, however it is usually completed in as little as a few hours.
In order to check the progress of your propagation we recommend 2 free websites.
IntoDNS.com - This will give you information on the nameservers it currently reads from your domain name plus information on any errors it may see. *make sure you just enter the basic domain such as example.com without any http or /.
DNSChecker.org - This gives you more options to see how the propagation is working throughout different parts of the world. Simply enter your domain name as above without any http or / and change the view you would like to see.
By default you will see A before the search button. For nameservers, change this to NS and click search.
